The game is this; I start us off with the name of an author (preferably published/well-known) and the last letter of their surname gives the next person the first name of the next author. If you want to put a novel they wrote so they can be looked up because they're vague then that's cool too. E.g. James Herbert (gives us "T") so your reply could be Thomas Harris... got it? Cool. Also, I figured this would jog people's minds about their favourite (and not so favourite) authors and novels/stories, which will add to the conversations going on. I'll start you off with an easy one; James Herbert (The Rats)

You gave a hard one! I don't know ANY well-known authors whose names start with a Y. I tried searching through Google, but it's just a bunch of authors whose last names start with Y.
