Do I have to recycle the words of the prompt before you understand the subtlety of its inclusion??

Hi everyone! I'm Emily, and yep I'm from tumblr, haha. I've been writing for most of my short life, but this year I'm hoping to really buckle down and improve my skills. I have a thing for meta fiction, and both the projects I'm working on right now involve some level of interaction between the world on the page and the world of the writer. One's for school and one's for myself, but between them I'll definitely be busy. Here's looking forward to talking more in the future!

Hi, aimeili! Are you taking a creative writing class in school?

Yes - in one of my courses I have the whole school year to develop and write a 6-8 thousand word piece on whatever I want, which is simultaneously the best and worst thing that I've ever tried to do. The best in that I have an amazing amount of freedom to try new things, and worst in that I'm never quite sure where the limits lie. In a class of two it's even more difficult to gauge where I'm at. The kind of postmodernist weirdness I'm working with...I've set myself a pretty big task, haha.
